Okay, I know it has been ages since I have done anything with my Blog. I normally don't make a New Year Resolution but I have decided that I need to do a better job at updating my blog. So in the words of my kids you take what you get and you don't throw a fit. I will try my best to update here once a month with the happenings of the month. Hope you enjoy.

Preschool Program

Hello to all

Well Gage is now a Kindergartner. He graduated from preschool yesterday morning. It was a good program. I was a bit nervous about how Gage would do in the program but he was quite the ham during the show, along with his cousin Jacob. The show started about 10:30a and lasted about 30min. The kids sang about 8 song and did about 8 nursery rhymnes.

It was a very good show for a group of 4 and 5 yr olds. Congratulations to all the preschoolers for a job well done.

A river or a Lake

I took some pictures of the Mouse river that runs through Minot. This is the River by HWY 2 and Cnty Rd 14 between Towner and Granville. The river banks are with in the tree's.

Here is the actual intersection of 2 and 14. We drove on Cnty Rd 14 Thursday night on our way home from Forks and by Friday morning it was closed due to being underwater.
Here is some railroad damage between Towner and Denbeigh, the railroad is on the north side of the west bound lane. One picture that wasn't taken is that there are railroad ties on the south side of the east bound lane.

Easter

Evening All. I know Easter was a week ago but better late then never right? Well as usual Easter morning started out with the easter egg hunt once everybody was ready for church. The kids had a good time searching for eggs and thier easter baskets. We headed to church and then to the Hoffarth house for lunch. We had a good meal, thanks to Deb and Brad, they are quite the cooks. The kids had a good time, Gage and Averie played the Wii system quite a bit, Abby was busy with Gretch while AJ and Gunnar were playing hockey. We just hung out and had a good day. My stay was rather short as I had to work at 2p but at least I got to spend the important part of the day with my family. Later in the afternoon Waylon and the kids headed out to the Deaver household for a nacho supper and an afternoon of sighting in guns.

Egg Time

Evening all. Tonight we decorated eggs at the Deaver house hold. It was quite the time. I had bought these little rabbit tong do-hickies(Yeah I know real technical), the kids loved them as they could dunk thier own eggs in the coloring and remove them all by themselves. We had a good evening with it as we all got in on the fun, I even got Waylon getting in on the action and if you look close you can actually see a smile on his face. I did put the kids cooking apron on them as to not stain thier clothes, 2 of the 3 aprons came from Great G'ma Lorraine and Gretchens came from Great, Great G'ma Iverson. When all was said and done we had lots of dye on the table and Gunnar's hands look like the Incredible Hulk. I bet you all wish you could have been here for the fun tonight, come on admit it ;-)

Gage sneezed just as I took the picture. Those little do hickeys were nice to have even if Gunnar did use his hands most of the time as it was quicker and easier for him.

I also have a football player in the house. We are using nose strips at night to help Gage sleep better at night as he does not sleep that well. (He does say that they help)
