More of the weekend

One last 4-wheeler ride before we head home from the fun filled weekend. How many rides was that Mom?
Ready, Set, GO!!! Grandpa woud fly the helicopter and the kids would run after it. Like Dad said nothing like the kids getting the exercise instead of him. He knows how to do it.

Stay, stay, GO!!

Grandpa push me,Needless to say Dad didn't sit much while we were there.

The boys after "Walking with Dinosaurs"

Momma T-Rex with her baby.

Gunnar called them the Pumpkin Flower

I like this picture as it shows the love even in dinosaurs between a momma and a baby. Even though they are believed to have been over 40ft tall.

This past weekend I took the boys to the show Walking with Dinosaours. We had great seat we were on the a corner and only 3 rows back, couldn't complain on bit about our seats. We had a great view of the stage, Gage wasn't so sure about it in the begining but liked it once he got into it a little more. Gunnar on the other hand never took his eyes off of anything that was happening. I have plenty of more pictures but this is all I am going to share.

Grechens idea of easter morning goodies is in her own words, "My not going to to look for eggs. My going to eat the candy" Yes that is right it is My not I.
This is just a to precious picture of Daddy helping his little girl get ready for church.

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!!!!

Good Weekend

Who says a person needs a lot of time for a painting project. All of this took about 30mins. to do. The kids got to pick out a ceramic figurine to paint for me and below are the results. Gage chose a frog. He chose the right colors but this frog changes color from front to back. Such a serious face he as but he did a really nice job. That is my Gage everything has to be just right.

Gunnar had a dog to paint. He likes his black apprently, it took some convincing to get him to use some other colors. But in the end it turned out really cute, surprise right?

Started off as a brown horse which quickly became a painted pony as you will see down below. The good news is that she really enjoyed herself and she likes her colors.

Gretch had to show off her hands to me so I could see that she herself was just as colorful as her horse that she painted. She enjoyed herself the most even though she really didn't like the mess as she was always wiping the paper off in front of her and wiping her hands.

The finished product. They did good work and will look great sitting on my desk at work.

The week in review

Well there wasn't much for goings on around here this week. It was my last week of goof off before I start my new job. I start at ING tomorrow as a data entry. So for my last day of goofing we headed to the Bottineau Winter Park for some tubing. There was a group of about 15 people that went. All from UA, Thiess', Ericksons', Cousin Brad and ourselves. We got there early enough that there wasn't a lot of other people there and then by the time we were ready to leave the crowd was starting to show up.

Gretchen had a blast. But why shouldn't she as she didn't really have to walk any where, just sit in the tube and be pulled everywhere.

Now Gage. Once we helped him figure out how to get pulled up the hill, into his tube and get moving we never really saw him again for the couple of hours that we were there.

Gunnar had a blast as well. He did really well with everything. We would help him get set to be pulled up the hill, made sure he was set in his tube and give him a little push. I was glad to see that when he would get to the bottom of the hill he would stay in his tube until someone from the group that was behind him pull him to the side so I never really had to worry about him getting knocked over.

So as one would guess it was a great day with family and friends and a good way to end/start the week.

RANDOM PHOTOS

Okay, I know it has been ages since I have done anything with my Blog. I normally don't make a New Year Resolution but I have decided that I need to do a better job at updating my blog. So in the words of my kids you take what you get and you don't throw a fit. I will try my best to update here once a month with the happenings of the month. Hope you enjoy.

So here a little run down of the last month or so.

Preschool Program

Hello to all

Well Gage is now a Kindergartner. He graduated from preschool yesterday morning. It was a good program. I was a bit nervous about how Gage would do in the program but he was quite the ham during the show, along with his cousin Jacob. The show started about 10:30a and lasted about 30min. The kids sang about 8 song and did about 8 nursery rhymnes.
It was a very good show for a group of 4 and 5 yr olds. Congratulations to all the preschoolers for a job well done.
